Established in Righteousness
Recently, I had a dream where I was handed a book, and the title read, "Being Established In Righteousness." God was highlighting to me a great truth that needed to be established until an immovable foundation was laid in my life that would empower me to 'reign in life through the one man Christ Jesus.' I found the phrase 'established in Righteousness' in Is. 54:14. As I began to ponder and study this section of the Scripture, what the Lord had been doing in my life became very clear. So often we have quoted the verse 17 of the same chapter saying no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Yet, without being established in righteousness weapons formed against us do prosper!
A few years prior to this, I had a dream where I was focusing on Isaiah 54:11. In the dream, this passage was highlighted to me with a circle around it. Now, I was back in Isaiah with another dream realizing that the Lord was intent on establishing foundations in my life and certainly not mine alone, but this is something He is emphasizing to the body of Christ. He is inviting us into the revelation of what it really means to have the Lord as our Righteousness in the deepest place of our identity. This is the foundation that will bring forth sons and daughters in full maturity and reveal the Love of Christ to the whole earth.
In the verses in this section of Isaiah, it talks of the Lord laying a foundation of rubies and sapphires, gates of crystal and the walls of precious stones. I believe this is the promise of us individually being made into a house of prayer. In the last decade, the Lord has called forth houses of prayer in many cities of the earth and is fulfilling the promise of the restoration of the Tabernacle of David. The distinction of the Tabernacle of David as opposed to the Tabernacle of Moses was the curtain between the people and the Presence was removed. David’s Tabernacle was a foreshadow of when the Lord of Glory would give Himself as the perfect sacrifice once and for all and the curtain in the temple would be torn from top to bottom, a time when we could come boldly to the Throne of Grace. That time came 2000 years ago!
To have our identity established in Righteousness will bring a people forth in holiness. They will not be trying to do something to become someone. They will be resting in the complete work of the cross, and Christ, who is their life, will be living through them. Isaiah 54:11 starts out with, “afflicted one, tossed with tempest and not comforted. Behold, I will lay your foundations.” When these foundations are laid we will live in the freedom and liberty as mature sons and daughters. Jesus said, “You shall know the Truth and the Truth will make you free.” Until we know the truth, the truth will not make us free. He is laying a foundation that brings forth His children, free from every enemy that assails them. The bride who lives in glorious liberty of their identity in Christ and who reign in Life. No longer will we try to answer condemnation with performance and works but with Justification, knowing we are complete in Him!
